The equinox spans 2,300 acres of land including the historic equinox hotel, the Charles Orvis inn, Avanyu spa re-opened in 2003 with a beautiful 13,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility, an 18-hole championship quality golf course and clubhouse, Equinox pond and part of Mount Equinox. Located in Manchester Village, Vermont the resort can trace its roots to 1769, when Equinox, adjacent townhouses and the CharlesOrvis inn. The Charles Orvis inn, reopened in July 1995, includes nine luxurious one and two bedroom suites with marble baths, full cherry paneled kitchens, gracious living and dining areas. Guests at the Orvis Inn enjoy the exclusive use of the private tying room bar, billiard room, stately board room and marble terrace.

    Take Route 87 New York thruway North to Route 7 East becomes 9 East at NY/VT border.Continue to Bennington and turn left onto 7 North. Take exit 3 turn left onto 313 then right onto historic Route 7a Northand drive 12 miles to the Equinox. Located on the village green in the center of the historic village and one mile south of the shopping district. ALBANY AIRPORT is 65 miles southwest.

It is open daily for breakfast, lunch, late lunch, and dinner serving regional cuisine and fine spirits. Live entertainment is featured on weekends. There is cocktail service offered on the Marsh Tavern terrace through late night during summer months.The ColonadeThe grand Colonnade offers an elegant dining experience featuring contemporary American and European cuisine and wines. Dinner is served July to mid-October on Tuesday-Saturday evenings. An exquisite, showstopping brunch is offered every Sunday from Noon - 2:30 PM. The Dormy GrillOpen seasonally, the Dormy Grill is located at the clubhouse at the Gleneagles Golf Course serving casual lunches and fabulous evening Lobsterfests on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
